What Guests Are Saying
Greenbelt Campground offers a great location close to Washington D.C., providing a peaceful, forested setting with well-maintained sites and convenient access to amenities. Many visitors appreciate the clean campsites, hot water in showers, and helpful staff, making it a good choice for camping near the city. However, some guests noted that the bathroom facilities could use improvements in cleanliness and maintenance. Overall, it’s recommended for its affordability and accessibility to both urban and natural attractions.

Nice park that is very underused. There was only 4 campers on my loop. It was close to the train station with access to Washington DC in 30 minutes. The bathrooms could use a little attention, but is always nice to have a hot shower at the end of the day.

Our campsite, C-97, was great. It was perfect for two large tents and close enough to the bathroom for kids without being too close. The campground was affordable and close to Washington D.C. ! We loved the forest for shade and exploring. We will definitely stay here again when we come back! Blueberry trail hike was nice and the ranger was friendly and had a fun junior ranger program for kids.
