Beautiful, well-run campground. The park is just a treasure in metro DC. Blueberry trail is a very nice short trail for a taste of the forest.

The location is great- you really can't beat it if you live in the area and want a quick place to camp or are visiting DC. The park itself is very pretty- lots of birds and some deer. Some of the RV sites are very sloped, so that's a bit of an issue when booking online. The bathrooms weren't cleaned much (or at all) during my 5 day visit, so they were pretty gross. I'd give the location and surroundings a 5/5. I give the bathroom/ shower facilities a 2/5.
