Greenbelt Campground offers a great location close to Washington D.C., providing a peaceful, forested setting with well-maintained sites and convenient access to amenities. Many visitors appreciate the clean campsites, hot water in showers, and helpful staff, making it a good choice for camping near the city. However, some guests noted that the bathroom facilities could use improvements in cleanliness and maintenance. Easy to find our sites. Inner loop sites were nice and big and flat. Bathrooms/showers could have been a little cleaner.

The campsite was fine for our needs to visit family in DC. Dense wooded area so no Starlink or wifi capabilities. The showers were old and very buggy. We arrived after a long tiring drive, first time here, and there was no ranger to ask questions. We found one leaving the shower room to ask where the dump station was and he was a bit rude. The camp host said there were alot of ticks in the area and he got lyme disease, just a heads up!

Sites are fine for our 13 ft Scamp, a bit close together. Convenient for overnight traveling along I95 in DC region. We were in B59 and it was level.. other sites not all level. Good bath house and showers.
