What Guests Are Saying
Greenbelt Campground offers a great location close to Washington D.C., providing a peaceful, forested setting with well-maintained sites and convenient access to amenities. Many visitors appreciate the clean campsites, hot water in showers, and helpful staff, making it a good choice for camping near the city. However, some guests noted that the bathroom facilities could use improvements in cleanliness and maintenance. Overall, it’s recommended for its affordability and accessibility to both urban and natural attractions.

Very nice place with nice people. Toilets and showers are very clean. People are nice and the hike is nice as well.

This was a nice quiet campground. We stayed Sunday-Friday and we had about 3 others sites being used.
Pros: clean, easy access and close to stores and such. Bathrooms with showers
Cons: had camp host, never saw them. DNR goes around daily but do not interact with campers not even a wave or nod (something small but makes it seem more friendly) no firewood anyplace! We searched every place and could not find any!

Went here because I did not want to drive far. The temps were pretty high in greenbelt but the campsites were pretty shady so temps were much lower which I def appreciated. I loved the trails. The other visitors were very nice and quiet. We will be back for sure.

Surprising nice little wooded spot with plenty of sites. Nice and quiet area in DC. Not far off the parkway. Bathrooms were kept very nice and still had great service at my site.
