What Guests Are Saying
Greenbelt Campground offers a great location close to Washington D.C., providing a peaceful, forested setting with well-maintained sites and convenient access to amenities. Many visitors appreciate the clean campsites, hot water in showers, and helpful staff, making it a good choice for camping near the city. However, some guests noted that the bathroom facilities could use improvements in cleanliness and maintenance. Overall, it’s recommended for its affordability and accessibility to both urban and natural attractions.

Bathrooms need cleaning and updating. Had a yellow jacket nest right next to camper and caused many stings and swarms of bees.

This was a very nice campground. Nice ranger. Very quiet. Very pretty. Only 10 min from Greenbelt station so we took the MARC into the city. My only complaint was only some of the bathrooms had a shower, and each only had one shower.

This was a nice quiet campground. We stayed Sunday-Friday and we had about 3 others sites being used.
Pros: clean, easy access and close to stores and such. Bathrooms with showers
Cons: had camp host, never saw them. DNR goes around daily but do not interact with campers not even a wave or nod (something small but makes it seem more friendly) no firewood anyplace! We searched every place and could not find any!
