Off season and very quiet. Only ones there. Toilet areas were clean and supplied. Sites were flat with fire ring and barbecue. Some fire rings also had a barbecue rack on them. Nice overlooking the river.

Great experience. I wish there was at least one large garbage dumpster at the entrance.

The serenity experienced along the Potomac River at Antietam Creek campsites is phenomenal. I spent three nights there by myself and visited Harpers Ferry and Sharpsburg, both places filled with history. The walk and bike trail that used to be the canal tow road is lined with some of the tallest sycamore tree I’ve ever seen. You hear owls at night and woodpeckers during the day. People are friendly and wave.
