What Guests Are Saying
Fifteen Mile Creek Campsite offers beautiful views of the Potomac River and is well-maintained, providing a peaceful and affordable camping experience. Many guests enjoyed the quiet atmosphere, clean restrooms, and access to biking and paddling opportunities. However, some noted issues such as noise from nearby parties, trash left by previous campers, and limited water access at the pump, suggesting improvements in maintenance and oversight are needed.

The App works really well, and I especially appreciate the fact that I can change sites after arriving. This campsite is perfect if you want to do some riding or hiking on the C&O Canal. It’s by the river, and very peaceful and well kept.

Boy Scout Troup 143 decided not to put the kids in the group campsite, rather putting them all across the road from us on a single site. The only reason I could think they would do this is the adults (who were in the group campsite) didn't want the kids near them. So we gotta to hear them. Please tell BS Troop 143 to put their group in the "group" campsite where it should be.

Nice location, beautiful view of the Potomac. Easily located from the road, and of course, right off the tow path. Sites are roomy enough for a small group to occupy a couple of adjacent sites, and larger groups can use the spacious group site.

Honestly: It's in the middle of no where. And it was awesome. I was a part of a group of 7, we reserved the group site, which was very large. Awesome weekend spot if you're looking to disconnect. Barely any signal. The smaller sites were very close to each other, so I could not recommend those. But the group site was across a bridge from everything else. Only downside is the 300 feet walk from where the parking lot was to where our site was. We had packed for a car-camping experience, and spent a lot of time bringing our gear to the site from our cars. Made up for it by having trees that were perfect for hammocking.

Beautiful area. Peaceful. Only down side was dog poop all around the area. I wish people would pick up after their pooch.
