We selected a great campsite but considered it expensive for being a primitive campground. Mostly quiet no idiots with radios despite being a holiday weekend. Very busy boat ramp nearby, but the river was clean and refreshing after a hot humid bike ride. The Little Orleans Campground campstore was within a mile and was welcome for ice cream and last minute necessities. Will definitely be back.

Great view of the river and launching area. Fairly level area for tent. Far enough away from the bathrooms but not too far.
No two trees close enough together for hammock.
Almost no signal for Verizon. I heard TMobile was pretty good.

No working dump station! No one there to sell ice or wood.

Good simple and quite beautiful campground with a view of the River. Access for Swimming and Fishing also a plus. Pump water and pit toilets. Great site. I'd use it again.

It’s a very pretty spot on a bluff above the boat ramp. We had site 6 which is closest to the river. Toilets were quite clean and had paper. The downsides: sites don’t have privacy, no trees between; area gets busy with boaters, swimmers, bikers all around.

The Grass was not mowed and way too high - many ticks. The bathroom facilities were clean though, so that was nice.

There were also many people camping there with no reservations
