I thought a sand pad would be great but it was just a mess. No cell service which was fine. There’s only 1 toilet in each loop and one spot for water. This campground has a beach nearby which was nice to have but we only put our feet in. Wouldn’t recommend this campground overall due to lack of amenities.

There is no dump station or water fill here but there is a water spigot without threads by the trash dumpster.
Really nice and private sites on a nice lake near enough to drive to Pictured Rocks Lakeshore.
No T-Mobile signal and too many trees for Starlink.

We had two nice nights in our reserved spot and decided to move over to a first-come first-serve spot by the lake for two more nights. The access to the lake was lovely as we brought our canoe, so the kids easily went fishing. The hosts were incredibly kind, and went over and above in making our kids feel welcomed. They had chalk, bubbles, and glow sticks to share. They even helped us resolve an issue with some noisy neighbors without any hesitation.
Thank you!

A beautiful campground right on the lake. Very convenient for fishing & kayaking. We even had a small dock right at our campsite. 4 instead of 5 stars bc the previous campers were still in our site when we arrived & then left trash on top
Of it!

Super nice, well-kept sites and toilets! We stayed here two nights and loved it. Everyone around us was very nice and talkative. Our dog even got to play with another pup at a nearby campsite which he loved. We will totally be coming back in the future! Bring bug spray!!

We dry camped in a 31’ Motorhome towing a car. The site was very level and clean in a nicely wooded area near the Au-Train lake.
There are no hookup’s, this is dry camping. Water is available, but if you’re in an RV, I t’s best to arrive with a full water tank and empty waist tanks.
We used a generator for about an hour each day. Air conditioning was not required in July.
The campground is very quiet. The sites are nicely spaced with good privacy.
The hosts were hard working and helpful.
