The hosts this year are awesome!!
They are always working , yet have time to chat. The bathrooms are cleaned often, there is no litter or trash anywhere, and they are super helpful in every way possible!! Let’s be sure they are invited back next year!! Thanks Toni and Brad!!

What a peaceful location with privacy and quiet atmosphere. Near to Munising and picture rock and many other trails near by.

Great area. Near by river is great to float on during hot days. Has two lakes that are great to boat on.

I reserved the site not knowing what to expect. Well it was beautiful. Very clean vault bathrooms. Awesome trails. Quiet and beautiful sites. The hosts are amazing and very accommodating. They are on top of the campgrounds care. We will definitely return to this campground. Just a side note don’t expect to be able to use your cellphone I have t-mobile and had absolutely no service.

Nice campground, with much to do, very large campsites and very secluded with not many people camping there. Perfect for our water activities of canoeing andhiking. Plan to visit again sometime.

AuTrain Lake Campground is located in Alger County, about 10 miles southwest of Munising. From AuTrain, travel south on Forest Service Road H03 for about 4 miles, then go a mile east on Forest Road 2276, and then another mile north on Forest Service Road 2596 to the campground.
