What Guests Are Saying
Grand Island Cabins offers a beautiful and remote setting, with clean, well-maintained cabins that feature convenient amenities like a propane grill and ample firewood. Guests appreciate the proximity to stunning beaches and hiking trails, as well as the cozy interiors that provide warmth and comfort. While the lack of potable water and higher nightly rates are noted drawbacks, the overall experience is delightful, making it a highly recommended destination for nature lovers.

Less than a mile from the ferry, and part of a nice hiking loop along the shore, up to Echo lake, and back. There was a gale when we stayed so we were very grateful for the warm cabin!

Staying here was one of the most peaceful, grounding experiences I’ve ever had. The cabin is filled with little trinkets and extra supplies others have left behind. It’s a short bike ride to the water spigot, and right across the main trail from a gorgeous overlook of the beach. The propane grill was so nice to have since it had rained the whole time I was there and doing a campfire wasn’t going to happen. It was a magical experience!
