Little Bay De Noc is a beautiful and peaceful campground, known for its spacious, clean sites and excellent upkeep by the camp hosts. Visitors appreciate the clean bathrooms and the campground's natural beauty, with good access to hiking and fishing. However, some campers experienced noise from neighboring generators and occasional service issues, which detracted from the overall tranquility.

Campsite was a good size, I hate sites where people are right on top of each other. The firepit had a grill on top for cooking, the campground host had wood for sale if you didn't get any in the area. The pit toilets were clean and stocked with toilet paper. Wished they had hand sanitizer on the wall but there was none so bring your own. The water did not work on the maywood loop so had to drive to the next loop to get water. if you want drinking water bring bottled. The well water here has a metal taste to it. The sites and walking trails were clean and well maintained. People with dogs were good about cleaning up their waste and keeping them at their own site. The swim area was a decent size but it was too cold for swimming. There is no electric on these sites so bring a generator or plenty of lanterns. Phone signal was good, was able to get social media, e-mails and make calls with no problems. We had a tent and the site was fairly level. The Stonington Lighthouse is about 8 mi further down the road and right now the Monarch butterflies are there on their trek to Mexico. It is awesome to see so many in one place. Rapid River is not too far away for gas and supplies. The nearest big shopping is approximately 25 mi away in Escanaba. There is ice and other items for sale at the little convenience store about 6 mi down the road. The boat landing at the park seemed to be very busy. Not sure about the fishing, didn't know anyone who went out.

Really lovely site near the water, with neighbors at a reasonable distance.

The campsites were large and many of them specifically accommodated tents. Oak was a bit warmer and out of the wind. The camp hosts were very helpful and friendly. Let’s do it again!

Great camping, large lots, peaceful, clean, quiet. We love going there as often as we can.

The sites are HUGE and private!! The road coming into the park is asphalt and wide; however, once you enter into the campground circles, they become quite narrow. We encountered a few low hanging branches (we were in a 40' MH). We did not use the restroom facilities nor the water. Our site #29 was great for our solar. The campground host was very nice and very overworked...they only have one campground host for the entire campground. We would stay here again if in the area.

unfortunately the campground is very RV-oriented. huge sites with gravel, not comfortable for tent campers. very few tent campers, mostly RV with noisy and stinky generators. living in town is less noisy and much less smelly.
you could hear the train from across the bay all the time.
the water pump kept breaking down, so we had to drive (!) to the next loop to get water, ridiculous.
there is no beach, no real swimming. we went to lake superior for that.
very short hiking trail.

We stayed in the group site and it was plenty big enough to accommodate 4 campers and still had plenty of room for the kids to play . I highly recommend this campground.

We had a great experience at a walk-in tent site. Felt remote while having access to amenities.
