Just enough spaced out to be a great experience! Pathway down to the water watch several sunsets. Park maintained well. No difficulties we truly enjoyed our two nights there

Great campground. Clean, quiet and well kept. 3 stars because boat ramp at Hunters Point was not in a usable condition and we were there for a Fishing Trip. This was the first year we've had issue with it not being ready when season is open.

Campground and facilities well kept and clean. A couple of nice historical trails are available; one in the campground called the Maywood Historical Trail, which has storyboards and we found very interesting, the other I believe called Bay De Noc to Grand Island trail located North of US 2 at the top of the Bay - easily accessed and nice path to walk. We did the 1 mile out to the first stream and back. Will surely be going back!

Nice campground & beach, lots of trails to walk or bike and the sunsets are amazing.
Make sure to see the light house at the end of the road.

Very noisy campers playing loud music all evening.
Grate on campfire ring is very high making it very difficult to cook using ring and grate.
Otherwise well kept and food campsite.

The campsite was clean and roomy. The pit toilet was clean and the campground was quiet. The dumpster was a mess both days we were there. It was clear no one was monitoring it. Bags on top of it, some of the trash had fallen on the ground and wasn’t cleaned up by the end of the second day. Our only interaction with the host was when they told us they were no longer selling firewood. We saw no ranger and never saw the host or anyone checking the campground.
