Great site in Lake Michigan. Lovely drive down to lighthouse at end of dirt road with cedar trees.Tons of frogs and toads that were adorable (sorry scientific naturalist types). Great nature trail with gorgeous hemlocks and history of tourism in area during late 19th and early 20th century. Nice store up the road towards highway 2.

Our site#5 at Little Bay de Noc Campground was one of the best in our five months long trip around the USA. Clean, open sky over solar panels, trees around for privacy, walking distance to park-like beach on Lake Michigan bay. Wonderful spot.

Little BayDenoc campground is beautiful! The campground has wonderful trails to walk especially the Maywood History Trail. We enjoy the large sites, nice fire pits and lots of space for our family. It is also convenient to sight see several places within an hour of the camprground such as waterfalls, the pictured rocks and other upper peninsula places.

Much more peaceful and remote-feeling once a few groups with large numbers of children running through a bunch of sites left! There's a grocery store on the road in for basic necessities and a gas station some miles past camp for firewood. Lovely and peaceful camp. It's a great place to catch sunsets!

Camping location didn't have a picture, but I was under the impression from other pictures there would be a view of the water, but there was not from our site (28). The path leading to the water was quite overgrown and hard to find. The site itself was well distanced from other campers and flat. Overall, it was a good place and checked all the boxes for a place to rest our heads for the night.

Campsite was a good size, I hate sites where people are right on top of each other. The firepit had a grill on top for cooking, the campground host had wood for sale if you didn't get any in the area. The pit toilets were clean and stocked with toilet paper. Wished they had hand sanitizer on the wall but there was none so bring your own. The water did not work on the maywood loop so had to drive to the next loop to get water. if you want drinking water bring bottled. The well water here has a metal taste to it. The sites and walking trails were clean and well maintained. People with dogs were good about cleaning up their waste and keeping them at their own site. The swim area was a decent size but it was too cold for swimming. There is no electric on these sites so bring a generator or plenty of lanterns. Phone signal was good, was able to get social media, e-mails and make calls with no problems. We had a tent and the site was fairly level. The Stonington Lighthouse is about 8 miles further down the road and right now the Monarch butterflies are there on their trek to Mexico. It is awesome to see so many in one place. Rapid River is not too far away for gas and supplies. The nearest big shopping is approximately 25 miles away in Escanaba. There is ice and other items for sale at the little convenience store about 6 miles down the road. The boat landing at the park seemed to be very busy. Not sure about the fishing, didn't know anyone who went out.
