Manager of camp ground is horrible. For the past 10 years a guy that lives on the lake delivers us wood. We order it ahead of time and he just brings it to us on our first night there. The past two years she has thrown a fit. She stopped Steve (wood) on the way out and told him to come back and take the wood back. She wants to sell her wet non burning wood. We have been coming to Brevort lake for the past 30 years and have never had any problems until the past two visits. I sure hope someone else puts a bid in to run Brevort lake campground, because she is going to run campers off with her yelling and not following the rules. I would like a copy of all the National forest campground rules in my hand to show S'more Memories Llc.

Not a bad site in the park. All are great. Bathrooms were outstanding clean. A nice amount of trees/foliage in between sites for privacy. We could kayak right off our site! Beautiful clear, shallow lake no weeds until way out deep. Wish we had a chance to fish it. Will definitely come back.

This is a loud campground with generators running all of the time and some camps playing loud music. The camp host/scooter police failed miserably in monitoring the noise level. If you are looking for peace and quiet, this is not the campground for you.

We stayed in the smaller loop (site 50 and site 55) in the bay/quiet part of the lake. It was very chill with nice, friendly people. The campsites are well maintained. Super nice bathroom facilities that are kept clean. There was a food stand with a large menu, which was a nice surprise. If you bring your boat and/or have kids, the larger loop is probably the better place to go. Site 50 backed up against a large hill and was across from the lake, but still with a lake view. It's wide open to the site next door, so would be a good spot if camping with another family. I loved site 55 - right on the lake. You could pull your boat up on shore, but there's not really a beach area for swimming at the site itself. We enjoyed sitting down by the water. More privacy at this site. I would definitely camp here again when in the area.

The only thing I would say is the camp hosts or workers go way to far to clean the park I think all work should stop buy 4 PM

Marcia and Co, from S’more Memories keep their camp grounds beautiful, and they are just awesome people. We’ll be back next year!!!

Family with two young kids. We loved it. Camping spaces are roomy with trees and lake access. The kids loved fishing. Lake Michigan park is about a 7 minute drive away and you have day access to that beach too. It's nice that this camp ground has fun games to play at your site. Bathrooms were clean. The host, Don, is really nice and very helpful. Only thing I wish this campground had were closer garbage cans to the camp sites.
