Great stay. Quiet, on a lake. Went to bed listening to frogs, woke up to a loon on the lake.

This may be the best National Forest campground in the State of Michigan. It is clean, quiet and has some of the friendliest hosts we have encountered. The sites are well-spaced and most give a fairly good feeling of "privacy". Most of the campsites are on the water with sandy beach; perfect for swimming and tying up a boat. Brevoort Lake is clear and clean. Fishing can be good, but often "spotty". Only 20 minutes from St. Ignace restaurants and shopping. Mackinaw Island is a 10-minute ferry ride from St. Ignace. Tahquamenon Falls, Whitefish Point, Soo Locks, Trout Lake and Drummond Island are all within 90 minutes drive.

Just off of Highway 2. The lake was beautiful and calm. Nice to have a bathroom with running water. Only stayed for a night but would stay longer next time!

My experience at this campground was great. Very relaxing, and great views everywhere. Cut River Bridge is close & so cool to see too! Can’t wait to come back here :)

Nice, quiet sites with easy lake access on a very quiet lake. Bathrooms are clean and well maintained. They even had a trailer with ice cream and other goodies for the families to enjoy on Memorial Day!
