We stated here for several days in late summer. The campground was kept up nicely and not to overcrowded. Will visit again.

This is an exceptionally nice campground. The sites are huge, wooded and private. There is a lake and hiking trail at the campground. Each site has a fire ring and picnic table. Firewood is available from the friendly resident campground host.

We enjoyed our stay here. Camp host was friendly. The site was level and had plenty of room for our trailer. Very close to Lake Superior. Monocle Lake was very pretty and we would have gone swimming if it wasn’t raining. There were some trails to walk near the lake. The bathrooms were spread out and a long walk to get to.

Clean and quiet location. Lake is clear and calm. Good location for accessing Sault Ste. Marie or Lake Superior. Cell service maybe lacking if that is important to you.

Great campground, large sites, well maintained. Nice lake with easy access. The only drawback was that several campers would run generators from morning until night, even though the rules say no generators. If it weren’t for the generators we would probably rate a 5. This is supposed to be a rustic campground.
