Campground hosts were excellent!
Always cheerful, kept the restrooms clean too.
This campground would certainly benefit with a dump station. Most of the natural forest campgrounds have them.

Restroom was very clean , the temp was cold and not many other campers.

Weather was cold but sites are big, private and well maintained. You will need a generator if you want power.

From Bay Mills, travel west on County Road 42 (Whitefish Bay Scenic Byway) for approximately half a mile, then turn south on Forest Road 3699 to the campground entrance.
Monocle Lake Campground is accessible via County Road 42 (Whitefish Bay Scenic Byway), which connects to M-129 approximately 10 miles to the east.
