What Guests Are Saying
Whiteface Reservoir is a beautiful and well-maintained campground with friendly, dedicated staff, particularly Teri, who ensures a welcoming atmosphere for campers. Visitors appreciate the clean facilities, great fishing, and peaceful surroundings, making it a favored spot for families. However, some have noted the lack of a dump station and occasional issues with camp hosts, which could be improved for a more seamless experience.

It’s such a great place to stay! Nice and private sites but close enough to stay with friends. Lots to do with fun beaches to relax. Also, close to Aurora MN if you want to head into a quaint little town.

Beautiful site on the water. Would have given 5 stars but it needs maintenance. The power fluctuated badly during our stay. The pavement throughout the campground is crumbling and needs serious repair. No shower facilities. Should have at least one by the beach area.

Staff very friendly and accommodating. When I made the reservation there were no electric sites available, so I was planning to use our generator. When we checked in I was offered to upgrade to an electric site that was a "first come, first serve" site that was open. This was our second time at Whiteface and we'll definitely be back!

We booked a spot at Whiteface Reservoir Campground at the very last minute for Labor Day weekend- it was one of the few campgrounds with any spots left and we were relieved to get a spot at all! That said, we completely hit the jackpot. This campground is beautiful. We wound up staying in a first come, first serve site along the water and it was stunning. Our camp host, Dale, was absolutely lovely and went above and beyond- he brought us firewood at our site, and gathered dry branches and loaned us his lighter fluid when we struggled to get our fire going. The bathrooms were always so clean, and the campground was well taken care of.
Our tips-
1- get your firewood somewhere else. We're relatively experienced at building fires and even with extra help, couldn't get this wood to burn. We picked up wood at a gas station nearby and had much better luck.
2- Definitely, definitely check out the first come first serve sites. They are so beautiful!
3- And be sure to meet the camp hosts- they're all so welcoming, helpful, and kind.
We can't wait to come back next summer!

Our site was clean when we arrived. The fishing was good. The campground is nice and quiet. Bathrooms are the cleanest of any I have visited. The Manager is the "Best"!
