This is a BEAUTIFUL campground! Very well kept, several bathroom/shower facilities well placed and clean, huge drive thru sites, nearly all are wooded and private, quiet, great paved roads in the campground for walking kids and dogs, great hiking trails, close to Ely for tourist activities, restaurants and shopping-Ely has a nice big park in town with a great playground if you need another place for kids to get more exercise! A good base if you fish or canoe and surrounded by more than you can count outdoor adventure opportunities. I LOVED it here. I will go back again and again! KUDOS to the employees for making this a hidden GEM in Northern Minnesota!

This was our first trip the the Fall Lake Campground, and will not be the last! Beautiful, quiet campgrounds with a lot of privacy between sites. The bathrooms were clean and the toilet paper stocked. The folks working the check in station/store were very nice and helpful.
