2nd year at the campground. Friendly staff and decent amenities. There is enough trees between the camp sites to make you feel like you have privacy. Camp store is small but has a nice variety.

The lake was very pretty. Site 56 was ok but not very level. Had a huge hump in the middle that made it hard to get the trailer in the right spot for leveling. The camp ground really needs a dump station instead of having to go to town and pay to dump. Be sure to fill your water tank before you set up camp.

We love this campground! Great facilities, it’s kept very clean and in a great location. Ely is a great town to check out as well. Bring your own firewood if possible - we might own a stake in a timber company after all the $ we spent on firewood!

Fall Lake is located in Northeast MN, 100 miles North of Duluth MN. From Duluth, MN, take Highway 53 north for 50 miles to Virginia, MN. Take Highway 169 northeast for 50 miles to Ely, Minnesota, travel an addition 6.5 miles to County Road 182 (Fall Lake Road). Travel north on County Road 182 for 2 miles.

- Reservations are held until the day after arrival; sites must be occupied by checkout time or will be forfeited.

- Visitors to the northern portion of Fall Lake must have a valid BWCAW permit.

- Each site allows one RV with a tow vehicle or one vehicle per tent site, with an option for one extra vehicle at an additional cost.
