A hidden gem of a campground. Off the beaten path but close enough to the beaten path to take advantage. The sites along the lake are phenomenal. Spacious. Secluded and private. Great for canoeing and kayaking. Good fishing. Be prepared for BUGS.

Ninemile has some of the most beautiful campsites I've ever seen. The campground could use some maintenance on the roads and pruning of low, overhanging branches along the road and many of the sites.

For firewood, I recommend going into Tofte to Craven Raven. They're professionals with seasoned and dry wood. The vendors in Finland don't do much to protect the wood from rain and the bundle I got was too dense and damp.

Beautiful lakefront camping. It is 10+ miles of well-maintains dirt road to get there, but the lake makes it worth it - and the late fall colors were AMAZiNG!

The campsite as described and solar water tasted great. Lots of pit toilets considering how small the campsite was. Very quiet and camp sites were spaced apart well.

Ninemile Lake Campground is off County Road 7, northwest of Schroeder and northeast of Finland.
- From MN 61, at Schroeder, turn on Co.1 (Cramer Rd.)
- Follow Co.1 (it will turn to Co.8) about 10 miles to Co.7.
- Turn right on Co.7, and go 4 miles.
- The campground entrance is on the left.
Alternatively, from MN 61 north of Silver Bay, take MN 1 to Finland.
In Finland, take Co. 7 to Ninemile Lake on left.
Ninemile Lake Campground is accessible via MN 61, which is approximately 10 miles away, and MN 1, both providing routes to County Road 7.

Policies & Rules
Cancellation policy
- Reservation fees are non-refundable. For campsites, cabins, lookouts, yurts, group sites, and similar stays, we charge a reservation service fee of $8.
- Standard cancellations usually have a $10 cancellation fee. Customers can generally cancel before the check-in date online.
- Late cancellation rules differ by stay type.
- Individual campsites: cancelling after 12:00am local time the day before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- Cabins, lookouts, and yurts: cancelling less than 14 days before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
- Modifications are allowed before the cut-off window, but fees depend on the change. Changing to dates completely outside the original reservation dates may trigger a $10 change fee. Extending or shortening a stay that still includes original dates usually has no change fee, though refunds may depend on timing and facility rules. Switching to the same type of campsite for the same dates usually has no change fee, but price differences are charged or refunded.
- Early departures may or may not be refunded. At certain facilities, partial refunds may be possible if staff can mark the site available for other visitors. No refund is given for a night if the early departure is requested after that day's check-out time.
- Security deposits are separate. Security deposits may be refunded to the original payment method if the facility is left in acceptable condition, as determined by the property.
