What Guests Are Saying
Flour Lake Campground is highly praised for its beautiful, quiet setting, with well-maintained private campsites and direct access to the lake, making it ideal for kayaking and fishing. Many campers appreciate the clean facilities and excellent hiking opportunities, particularly the nearby Honeymoon Bluff. However, some concerns were raised about high fees for additional vehicles and occasional issues with restroom cleanliness, as well as reports of disruptive behavior from other campers.

I love this campsite - but I do want to point out that site #30 and site #2 are physically connected and are only separated by a rock in the middle of the site! This was confusing to me when I was looking at the pictures of the sites online - it looked like one big site with 2 picnic tables on it. When I arrived, there was already a family on site #2, leaving me zero privacy. I was able to switch to another site, but it would have been nice to know this before I picked #30. The staff at Golden Eagle Lodge are very friendly and helpful, and the campground is very well maintained! We have stayed at Flour Lake several times and will definitely go back!

The sites had privacy, which we appreciate. It's a lovely setting. We really enjoyed renting a pontoon boat for the day from the Golden Eagle Resort nearby. They are really nice folks to deal with.

Nice quiet campground on our way in to the BWCAW! Flat large campsites.

Everything was perfect, one thing I would’ve changed was make the fire ban more obvious on the website, we didn’t know until we came there.

Great campground! Good drinking water, vault toilets and lake access. Well maintained by the folks at the lodge down the road (where you can get firewood).

We really like this campground. The biggest negative is the toilets. The one nearest our site was not cleaned the 3 nights we were there. Only fresh toilet paper was added. There are flies dead on the floor. No door sweep too keep the flies out. It’s too bad they don’t take better care of the restrooms the campground and lake are great.

The campsite at 20 was very close to the lake, and the weather was beautiful the whole time.
