What Guests Are Saying
Trails End Campground offers a stunning and serene location with beautiful views of the river and easy access to canoeing and hiking in the BWCA. Many campers appreciate the well-maintained sites, peaceful ambiance, and wildlife sightings, making it a favorite for relaxation and exploration. However, some concerns were noted regarding the cleanliness of the outhouses and the lack of on-site assistance for purchasing necessities, along with issues related to noise from nearby campers.

Beautiful site, beautiful campground. Quiet, clean, and the site was bigger than expected, too! You really can’t go wrong with any of the campgrounds along Gunflint Trail.

Nicely spaced campsites, and beautiful views. Great jumping off spot for paddling, hiking, or biking on snowmobile trails.

Great, understated campground. clean facilities. Definitely encourage you to rent a canoe in one of the numerous nearby lakes, or Vogayger Canoe Outfitters up the road. Definitely no cell service available as other reviews mentioned.

Campsite 003 was huge. Almost a group campsite feel. Plenty of space for children to run. It had a short path down to Gull Lake..... Kayak or canoe access. I personally loved sitting at the waters edge drinking my coffee in the morning soaking in the fall beauty. I did hear a few loons still....September 20th. The campsite was clean and maintained. The fire ring had a balanced grate which is nice cooking on.

It was nice. I was on campsite 27, it's right next to campsite 28 really close actually. It was great, really busy up there, but super quiet at night. I will do it again soon! A very nice get away!

Beautiful campground. Well maintained and cleaned. Loved having the water spigots right at the campsite. The BWCA and Superior Forest are so incredibly beautiful. The campsites along the lake shore are closer together, but the sites farther back are more spacious and private. We loved our spot. And we literally had zero mosquitoes bother us the entire weekend. It truly was a wonderful camping experience.
Just be sure to fill your gas tank before you leave Grand Marias.

Always enjoy a few days camping at Trails End. It is quiet, and the other campers are nice.

Beautiful site and well worth the drive up the Gunflint trail. Sea Gull lake is gorgeous and many sites have nice views and/or are very close access to the water. We will be back.
