We like this park due to all the lakes in the area. We could do without the train and traffic.

We had a great time at Pokegama. Camping with friends, great weather, no bugs, being on the great Mississippi. Train whistle was loud but not too often.

Great campground in a great location! It is well-maintained with spacious, well-spaced out and level gravel sites. Mississippi River views from most sites, nice hiking trails, fascinating local history, and very convenient to Grand Rapids shopping and eateries just 10 minutes down the road.

This is our favorite camp found. We had our 12 and 10 year old Grands. Took them fishing and caught some nice fish.

A great place to camp! Very scenic and convenient to Grand Rapids. If you love to play Pickleball there are 10 dedicated public Pickleball courts about 10- minutes away from the campground. The campground is well maintained and Park Rangers are very helpful. I had a low tire on my 5th wheel trailer and they had me pull up to the shop door so that I could put air into the tire. I will definitely be going back for another stay.

Very nice location and well maintained. The dump station even had the hoses set up. Sites that back up to the river all had great views. Some noise road but it didn’t bother us
