Very small campground which is nice! We backed up to the Mississippi and it was lovely! Road noise is there but not too bad unless ambulance goes by. No wildlife seen except squirrels. The trail was not friendly as the mosquitoes were out in full force! Not bad at the campground. Easy water fill up at the dump and a couple of other spots. Did not use the restrooms but the playground looked nice for kids. No place to ride your bike any distance. We enjoyed it but would not plan a very long stay here as not much to do! Good shade trees! Good power 50 amp.

Beautiful, spacious sites. We had 50amp electric. Water spigots were located conveniently throughout the campground. Dump station too. We rode 2 segments of the Mesabi Bike Trail. Very nice.

very nice campground with good spacing between sites. Amazed to see turtles laying eggs at our site. Traffic is a little noising during the day but quiets down at night. There are trains also but only 2 in late afternoon.

We love this Campground however we have noticed over the past few years that other Campers are not following the rules and the Rangers do not seem to care. People are parking and setting up camp on the grassy areas where it is not allowed. There have been more than 2 vehicles per site and they do not fit so they park them on the grass outside of their site. This makes it difficult for other Campers to drive in and out of the Campground. Dogs have been left off their leashes and some have been left outside all night long.

We stayed in a site right on the water and really enjoyed our stay. The sites were fairly level and quiet for the most part. You could hear the road traffic a bit on Hwy 2 but nothing too bad.
