Beautiful campground! Highway and trains are quiet at night so it is very peaceful. Walking trail across the dam is lovely. Showers excellent, friendly people, easy to maneuver in and out. Would definitely stay here again.

I would have rated it 5 stars except for one glaring issue that I feel compelled to comment on. First of all, the positive.....the campsite we stayed in (#7) was excellent! Nice and level, nice shade, plenty of room for our 30' travel trailer and our truck. Fire ring was the appropriate distance from the camper so didn't have to worry about fly ash hitting our awning. Absolutely 5 stars on the campsite. We like the location of this campground to area mountain biking parks. We will very likely be back again next year.

Now for the negative......One big negative. There were guys mowing on a Friday afternoon when the campground was completely full. I am fully aware of everything you are going to use as an excuse. Limited staff, limited availability as far as days they work, etc. Every, and I mean EVERY other campground I've been in, they mow on days where it is more likely that the campground will be less populated. There were people sitting at their picnic tables eating lunch while your guys were going near them kicking up dust, leaves, rocks, whatever. An even bigger concern......Yes they had deflection shield on the discharge chutes, but that won't stop every rock or stick from getting shot out of the chute. They were turning around in the road where there was gravel, pointing their chutes at campers and vehicles. Unbelievable!! I have had two windows blown out by irresponsible lawn mower operators due to rocks being thrown. Why not put plugs in the chutes like every other campground I've been in does. MULCH the grass clippings, and it is much safer! Please consider choosing different days and times. Yes, there will be campers in the campground, but on a Friday afternoon, this campground was absolutely full. On Monday when we left at noon, almost empty. PLEASE consider, and at the very least PLUG the chutes.

Easy to find campground as it's right of major road. Easy check in with Ranger. Tent site was a good size for a medium size tent..had table. It was just a overnight stay. Dam near and walking trails ..good fishing on Dam/River.Very clean restrooms with TP and hand dryers.(Shower) Beautiful area and quite ...until early morning train and loud trucks. Plenty of lights at night. Felt secure and safe. I would camp here overnight again. Very clean which was a bonus.
