As expected, Pokegama is a well maintained campground. Only negative is some noise from the nearby US 2, however it quieted down as darkness fell. Very nice woods trail on the far side of the dam. This was our second stay and we will stay again if our travels take us near here.

We had great time the park was clean but charge.$26.00 in lieu of $13.00.

We arrived on Sunday and the campground was pretty quiet. We noticed immediately that we did not need a code for the showers/bathrooms and there did not appear to be a campground host in the park. This wasn't a huge problem until Monday morning I went to take a shower and a woman with dogs walked out of the bathroom. It was obvious that there were many people using the bathrooms and showers and they were not staying at the campground. Overall this is a nice campground in spite of non-campers using the facilities and the noisy highway and train.

This is a very nice park on the Mississippi River that is well-maintained. The RV site was spacious with a fire pit and picnic table. We have a 41' motorhome and the only tight area was the turnaround by the dump station as we had to back up once in order to turn around, easily enough.
The park offers a great play area for the kids, walking along the river, walking onto the dam, and walking trails. Our stay was in September so we were getting bombed by acorns 24 hours a day which we thought made the stay memorable.
We will be returning next year.

Beautiful facility with plenty of parking. Grounds are maintained like a high end hotel. Clean restrooms. Easy access.
