Peaceful, quiet everything seemed clean and well taken care of.
Only problem was the hot water for the shower in the handicap wouldn’t get hot. It stayed very, very lukewarm.

We stay here every year. Beautiful sites along the river. Quiet and well maintained.

We reserved the picnic shelter for our 55+ group.
Area was very clean with easy access to the shelter.
Plenty of electrical outlets and garbage cans for our trash.

Large campsites. Great showers. Trails to walk along the Mississippi River. Definitely a top shelf camping experience!

Site 14 has a bright street light on it and the lights from the adjacent pit toilets. With the bright light and street noise from behind it was like camping in a Walmart parking lot. Campground is good, but on the weekends when the office staff is gone there are some sketchy looking non campers coming into to use the showers. Also campers had dog running loose and lots of overnight visitors, 4 cars at one site. It's a small campground, so no camp host, so on the weekend there is no support.

From Grand Rapids, Minnesota, take Highway 2 west for 2 mi, turn left at signs and follow to campground.
