Our stay here was absolutely terrific! Very clean, modern showers/restrooms, great fishing. I would definitely camp here again.

We really enjoyed the park. Our site was a bit tricky to back into as it had some low hanging trees. Cell service at our site was poor. We will be back, just at a different site :)

Love the sites, walking opportunities and the dam museum artifacts. This site is a memorial site and educational if you're into that (overlook on hwy 65 at the rest stop has historical monuments).

This was our first visit to the Sandy Lake recreation area and ACE campground. We were there the last weekend of the season before the campground closed for the season. Lovely campsite and weather and we enjoyed exploring the surrounding area. We hiked the Continental Divide trail over at nearby Savanna Portage State Park, the colors were stunning!

Wonderful, small campground right on the water. Great showers and laundry facilities.
Weβll be back!

The campground was well maintained and lovely. The two sides have very different vibes--the on-lake sites are small but have good views. The more wooded sites are larger and more private, but more removed from the lake. The camp hosts were lovely. Hot showers were awesome!

Love the sites on the newer side., but either side is clean as can be. Campground hosts are friendly. Nice area to walk around.
