What Guests Are Saying
Stony Point is praised for its beautiful setting, clean facilities, and friendly staff, making it a favored destination for campers. Many appreciate the well-maintained campsites and access to the lake, with several guests returning year after year. However, there are concerns about maintenance, particularly regarding overgrown grass and inadequate pest control, which detracts from the overall experience.

My husband and I were very disappointed when we got to our campsite and noticed that the grass was not mowed. They are only mowing in strips by where the campers are and then leaving the long weeds/ grass grow up because they want it this way. WHY?!!!! So it’s mosquito haven and invasive weeds. It looks terrible!!!! Very disappointed 😞

Nice campground. Clean bathrooms and showers. Swimming area was great. I enjoyed myself kayaking and hanging out. Christine the park ranger was awesome. Burn ban not so much but ya can’t control the weather. 5 out of 5 stars. Would camp here again.

Amazing place. Huge sites and great access on all sides to the beach. Cell coverage was great and place was very quiet. The access road is paved, but full of holes and the interior of the park needs to have a bunch of trees trimmed as they drag the top of the coach.
