The park is a mess. Minimal mowing, lots of weeds, full trash, dirty baths and showers. It needs some major TLC. Have been coming for years and the park keeps going down hill!

I love stony point,we have been coming here for years. The park looks sad the grass isn't cut like it use to be.it was a beautiful park now you have woodticks, and lots if mosquitoes, that we all know about.the showers haven't been clean.the hosts are very unfriendly.never see them do anything.the forest rangers do all the work. Also poison ivy seems to taking over the campground.not good for kids.

Great trip, nice facility. Watch the steel wheels that extend from the dock they will damage a boat.

Bath rooms and shower house very dirty. Grass was long and walkways were vary dirty so things were tracked into buildings. dock was not set good at boat landing.

We have stayed at Stiny Pount at least once a year for the past several years. It used to be our favorite place but not anymore. The showers and bathrooms were filthy. There was little to no hot water for showering. The lack of mowing has made it a mosquito and tick haven and the grounds look terrible. Trees need to be trimmed for big rigs and sadly no firewood for sale.
We hope improvements are made as it saddens us to see the campground in its current condition.

Wonderful campground, beautiful lake with some beaches. Most sites have electricity. Sites were large and level. If you go in 2023 prepare for mosquitos. But that is true everywhere in MN this year. This is one of my favorite campgrounds. If you can snag a site, go, and just enjoy Leech Lake!

Stony Point was beautiful, clean, quiet and very relaxing. We really enjoyed all the birds we found in the area. Walker is a great little town to visit and shop. We will definitely go back again!

Site#19 is the public beach, wish map and picture would have represented that.
