We loved our stay at Stony Point! Great camp hosts this year! (Wayne & Tammy--wow were they on the ball, helpful AND friendly!)
The lake is beautiful--swimming and fishing. And no burn band so we enjoyed many fires. Paul Bunyan trail close by we love that. Thanks!!

We enjoyed this small and quiet campsite! We enjoyed the beach and lake access for getting our boat onto the lake to fish! We liked the tree coverage at our campsite and throughout the entire area. The only thing I wish it had was onsite was firewood, or a notification ahead of time so we didn't have to leave to go and get it.

Nice and spread out Campground. Great location for fishing with a boat launch and two lagoons to park boats.

Would go again! Loved being by the water. Our campsite was about 20 feet from Leech Lake and had a small beach area where we parked our chairs and relaxed. Seemed as is we were transported to an island paradise! PS Wear bug repellent!! There’s also a grass and beach area open to all campers.
Electric available at your site. Sewer hookup/ water available at a location near the middle of the campground and is well maintained.

We love Stony Point! It has the perfect setting, lots of beautiful trees next to a breathtaking lake. The little beach areas give the special feeling that they are there just for you! The water is absolutely beautiful! We appreciate the facilities of the bathrooms and showers at Stony Point. We had an incredible host this year, despite the reduced Chippewa National Forest staff, they worked very hard at keeping things clean and going especially after the delays and challenges in getting Stony Point opened for camping. We love the experience there so very much, it's one of our favorite times of the year and we were sad to leave it, can't imagine camping anywhere else!
