Slope of the pad was near impossible to level our class a motorhome and there was next to zero verizone cell coverage...had to drive about 5 miles to be able to get a message out.

Beautiful campground - didn't realize there was no water in the lake!!
Sites were nice. Bathrooms were so so - all toilets leaking - the floor was really wet.
We were there for just one night so no big deal.

The location was very nice, but a site that was advertised as available for tent camping didn’t have much of a spot to set up. We figured it out and enjoyed our night there, though!

Dub needs a lot of TLC. The public day-use area was neat and clean though. For camping, see if you can secure a site at South Abutment instead. Water came out brown after a rain and we lost power. The sites are strangely placed with our fire pit at the bottom of a small hill right behind our neighbor’s camper.
Many use this area as an affordable homesite. Several empty campers were on site with no vehicles - a bit creepy. Also, the lake has been drained to allow for work on the dam, so do your research before planning any lakeside activity.

Lake was dry and very rough campers looked like they have been there for a while.

Roads were closed, so it was difficult to get there. When we arrived, the place was a dump! It looked like many were living there full time. We did NOT feel safe to stay there! Couldn’t get in touch with rec.gov on phone & no internet connection, so we kept driving & stayed in a hotel. I do NOT recommend this place!!

Nice place off season. Was pretty clean too. Shower house was full of ladybugs, but that's the south during season change. Nice hiking path. Great lake views. Worst part was that I was in the state of Mississippi. Much love!

Very peaceful. We could only stay one night, and we wished that we had more time there.
