This area is not for big rvs. We have a 24' pulled by a chevy avalanche and barely made it through the narrow roadways.in the turnabout. This area is also full of trees that drop sap and nasty all over your vehicle. The spot itself was nice although only a couple spots are spacious in this area. The street was quiet and much lass campers here so we could ride around on bikes and let our kid play without much fear.

We love the Dub Patton area yet this time our experience was not up to par. We stayed at site 17, had one heater plugged and the power was continuously tripped. Nothing else was plugged in, might i add. We use the same heater every time we come and never have this problem. The water was dripping when we got there. Tried shutting it off yet it dripped the entire weekend causing puddles which made it muddy. Called the help line no one ever came and was told we couldn’t get a refund until the reservation was up. Never received a refund and the restroom was flooded also.

Our camp site was cramped and we didn’t have a fire pit. There was music blasting and the rangers which were in ear shot would not do anything about it. The worst camping experience I’ve ever had. I will not be coming back.

Very clean and quiet when we were there. RV section is located on the lake (not visible from all sites). Sites have picnic tables, fire ring, pole to hang food bags for tent campers.
Hernando MS is short drive to pick up supplies, etc. About the same to Southaven MS.
Arkabutla is very large state park with usual activities. We will definitely go again!
Camped in Class C RV with two slide-outs.

Over all good. People parking blocking turnaround visiting tent campers. Made it difficult to get trailer turned to get to our site. Water hookup leaking at site 14 making muddy area at our site 15.
It was quite after dark. No one at check in booth. Would stay here again just will not be my first choice.

We rented spots #9 and #10 at Dub Patton Arkabutla and camped in tents. The views are AMAZING and even had water access a few steps away down the hill. The area was very clean. The bath house was clean. We will definitely camp here again! I recommend renting both spots together because they are basically on top of each other, and the view is totally worth it!!!!!

This COE is the worst campground I’ve ever stayed at and we stayed at lot of them. Site 7 was narrow and sloped down. Dangerous coming down the steps had to be careful not to twist or break my ankle. The electrical box was full of dirt daubers and hit several times. Never saw a host and the office hasn’t been used in years . We had to clean our own site of trash.

Campsite 10 was amazing! Right on the lake with a beautiful view. We were unnecessarily followed in by a police officer very closely for several miles on our way to the site which was unnerving, but other than that our stay was great!

Site 12 was flooded with water. Not sure where it was coming from.
