DH is always one of our favorite places to stay. The campground and the hosts are very nice. There's a few hiking trails within the campground and a beautiful waterway that runs through it. The lots and bathrooms are very clean too.

Beautiful sites, quiet surroundings , and not too far from the highway for easy access. One of our favorite COE campgrounds...ever!

Very nice clean campground with spacious sites. Not full hookup but with the scenery we didn’t care. Right on the Tombigbee River. Definitely will visit again! $24. A night $12. With discount.

Gate attendants very friendly. Stayed for a week without issue. Very nice campground but wish there were some full hook up sites with view of water.

We have been going to Dewayne Hayes for several years and we do not like the new way they do the reservations. Several sewer sites that were showing booked were empty all weekend. Then when we went to leave and dump our black tank the dump station was running over and blocked off. With the increase in cost they should be doing better, not worse. And blowing off the camp site after someone leaves at 7 am is for the birds. People are trying to sleep. If you can’t check in until 3:00 … why the hurry?
