Hernando Point Campground offers a charming escape with spacious, clean sites and beautiful views, especially along the river. Many guests appreciate the peaceful atmosphere, well-maintained facilities, and the friendly staff, making it a great spot for families and RV owners. While the lake is currently dry due to repairs, visitors still enjoy outdoor activities like walking and fishing in the pond, and they look forward to future improvements.

Hidden Treasure, first visit, and very impressed. Quiet and right on the lake. Might add FHU, to webpage.

Nice campground for camping only. Supposedly has hiking trails but the are not maintained or marked after you get 100 feet off the road.

The only problem we encountered was the lack of sewer hookup on the site. All other campers present were hooked into sewers on their sight. I got my sewer hose and it was the same size as the opening to the sewer inlet and could not be inserted. I went to Southaven RV center and bought an adapter but when i installed that on my hose it was also the same size as the opening and could not be inserted. I found out by comparison with camper next sight over that my sewer inlet was the only one that had an adapter part screwed in to the opening the same size as both of those (and by the way its lid would not shut. Had to make an extra stop at the park's dump station with full tanks after three nights of camping and water usage.

What a wonderful park. Great RV sites by the water. Beach was nice to take walks. Lots of wildlife. Saw a pair of bald eagles. Thank you for the full hook ups!

We were in Lot 8 for 9 days. It was a perfect back in for beginners. Straight shot, but you have to stay on the pad because of hills. It was the perfect view from the back of the trailer and sitting in chairs. We were in lot 14 for 5 days. It was a simple back in not quite as easy as 8. It was an handicap site so the table & grill was easy to access.

We really enjoyed our trip at Hernando Point so much we switched sites to extend our stay. Would be a 5-star review, only drawbacks were lake was very low which revealed a lot of trash on shoreline. Sunset views were beautiful regardless though. We're also an active family and walk/bike area is limited to campground area.

views were great, sunsets were stunning! I will warn that the wind can get intense if you are on the lake rim, we were in site #3. if you like to walk, this is a great park for it. Memphis isn't too far away so it makes it easy to take a day trip. Definitely would recommend Central BBQ in Memphis and Wiseacre Brewing just down the street form there.

Our weather was less than desirable but it went well. Lake was very low, more than expected, but still beautiful. Your pretty much on your own there with a ranger passing by maybe once a day. I would like to return during the summer to check it out.
