Most sites are great, but there are a few that need leveling. More trees needed in some sunny and hot sites.

Very nice place. Shower houses very clean, grounds very well maintained, and park rangers very polite and help full.
No lake though!

A nice well kept campground. All hookups worked great. It’s a shame about Arkabutla Lake and Dam not being what it used to be, but the campground is a great campsite.

We were on site 20 great site I know the lack of water is an issue, but we did have a breeze coming across the lake. Very quiet campground everyone is friendly, and rangers drive through checking on all campers.
This is one of our favorite campgrounds for a quick weekend getaway or a longer stay. Close to Hernando town square and they always seem to have events around the square. Shopping and Restaurants nearby.

We always have a great time when we camp at Hernando Point. The sites are not on top of each other. Some are spaced out. There are a few that are close. The only thing that I wish they had was air-conditioned in the bath house.
