Piney Grove

I must love this campground and this site especially, as I have stayed here multiple times.

Bathrooms a little dated, supposedly scheduled for maintenance during the off season. Shower in women's bathroom was continually running. The vent covers had already been installed for the winter and the bathhouse was wet with steam and humidity due to very warm temps. A box fan would have been a great addition. Approach signs to the park are very hard to see at night (reflective properties faded).

Otherwise, great park, great views of lake, hosts very friendly.

Piney Grove is a beautiful campground with nicely spaced sites. It is a great family campground with playgrounds as well as tennis and basket ball courts. Make sure you have everything you need as the campground is very remote

Very friendly camp host greeted us and gave us instructions to reach our site. Campground was clean and quiet.
Utilities at site were functional. Cover to electric panel was off and may have become an issue in the rain. The water pressure at the site was low compared to other sites - likely a valve issue vs system pressure.

The waterfront sites were very nice and had views worth the night stay.

While seemingly out of the way in the backcountry of Northeast Mississippi, the campground was near enough to towns and not to far from Shilo National Battlefield in southern Tennessee.

Beautiful campsite overlooking the water. Campsites are large and level! A little distant from dining (30 minutes to Marietta), but this is a very peaceful spot in early November. We would love to come back in warmer weather and enjoy kayaking on the lake!.

Always a pleasure to stay. There is no better staff, always patient and helpful. The only reason it is not perfect is no sewer hookups.

Great place, third time. We met with 5 other couples from our HS days for the second time and enjoy this place and the view very much.

We experienced the best time, beautiful fall colors, a nice clean quiet park. We took a short ride over to Red Bay and enjoyed a Christmas shopping day at the Happy Hallow. Piney Grove is the best camping area to enjoy a toasty campfire while playing games with friends and family. Beautiful trails and nice roads to enjoy a bike ride or two. Nice clean playground for my grand son to have a big time and make new friends. I rate Piney Grove a 10 out of 10, my favorite place to camp. My husband enjoyed some deer hunting right outside the campground, lots of deer to see. Cannot wait till my next reservation.

Piney Grove is a beautiful place to camp. It is very well maintained. The host family is very friendly and helpful. The only thing I can complain about is that it's hard to get a space.

There are so many shady sites at this park and so many that are pretty level. This park is clean and beautiful!!
