This was my first time at Piney Grove and I don’t think it’ll be my last. I was impressed with the campground itself as I explored along the Natchez Trace Parkway. Next time I come I’ll spend more time at my campsite and enjoy the amenities the campground offers.

Very nice place for camping.
It would be nice if the bath houses were climate controlled.

Good campground location. Facilities need work. Government needs to use some of the camping fees to renovate bathhouses

You can’t go wrong with any of the waterfront sites. Love this campground and the lake is beautiful.

Excellent campgrounds with plenty of shade. All the necessities and plenty of amenities. Great lake for water activities. My #1 choice for camping/boating. Love this place.

Campsite was ok. A tree was in the way of putting the awning out on the camper. Pictures are deceptive.

My family of 4 camped here in April of 2024 and had a wonderful weekend getaway with my sister and her family. Between our 2 families we brought 4 girls ranging in ages from 4-11 years old, and they LOVED it! The campsites are nice and have plenty of room and plenty of shade. We were close to the water, so there was always a cool breeze blowing in off the lake, it seemed. It was a bit windy which made the water too choppy for me to get my kayak out as far as I would have liked, but the coves along the shoreline provided calmer waters to explore. On less windy days, the lake would be a great spot to paddle around. The kids enjoyed the playground and playing at the water's edge. If it were a warmer time of year, we'd have definitely gone swimming! Just across the lake from our campsite was a bar/grill that had a live band scheduled to play (we didn't go because of the kiddos, but enjoyed the sounds of the music while we cooked over the fire). I HIGHLY recommend this campground and definitely plan to return again sometime! -KD from West TN
