There is ok cell service AT&T and Verizon. Not good for streaming but we could make calls. The campground is a wonderful place to stay and relax. Lots of lake view/side spaces. We are 40 ft TT and had plenty of room. Make your reservations early they fill up fast. The staff is wonderful. We have stayed there more than once and they are always helpful. I hesitate to leave a good review because I want to be able to get a reservation...LOL You will not be disappointed.

Camp hosts and gate attendants were all very friendly and efficient. Sites were checked and cleaned within minutes after a camper departed. Restrooms and showers were older but very clean.

Second time in spot 43 and enjoyed 4 days and nights with friends all from TN. After 2 trips have grown very fond of this place. One of the host is from Dresden TN.

It was spring break so there were lots of kids, some were not supervised by their parents! We had some kids knocking on our RV at 10:30 PM. Thankfully, the camp hosts put a stop to that activity!! We love Piney Grove and will be back!!

We enjoyed a 2 night stay at Piney Grove while driving the Natchez Trace. It's a beautiful campground surrounded by water (Bay Springs Lake on the Tombigbee Waterway). Our site, #121, had a great view of the water, as well as a dock in front of it - nice to bring lawn chairs down to sit there. We were there in early March when it was too cold to swim, but the beach area looked really nice. Facilities are older but everything looks well maintained and staff are very friendly. We would gladly stay there again.
