The campsites gave plenty of space and provide a picnic table, grill and small fire pit. Bath house facilities are very clean. Which there was septic without having to go to dumping location. We had a great camping experience and the three grandkids enjoyed it also

Site 78. Pretty level site with a decent view of the lake all around. I love this campground. So many nice people, and it really was very clean and quiet. Our weather was too hot to spend too much time outdoors, but what time we did spend was precious there. The park attendants/rangers were all very nice and cordial. Very helpful. Beach area clean and nice. I do wish they would replace some of the broken pavement that leads to the docks. Probably would not bother most people - I just have difficulty walking and it was a challenge with some of that path. I think the only negative though I had was that many people did not clean up after their dogs. That always concerns me as I walk my dog as well and would not want to entertain disease to another puppy leaving that behind. The main roads to the campground were very nice - not too narrow, but somewhat. Only about 20 miles to Booneville ... decent shopping for groceries and supplies. We would certainly go back there even though not many attractions in that area to visit.

We had a great stay. Took our grandsons before school started back. They had a blast riding bikes and meeting new friends. The swimming area was clean and not overly crowded. Staff very friendly and helpful. Other campers friendly. No complaints.

The grounds need to be mowed better and shower stalls need to be cleaned better other than that great place to camp.

It was a very peaceful few days and the boat traffic was light so we had no problems playing in the water.

Lakeside camping at its best! Whether you have a proper motor boat, sailboat or simply a canoe or kayak, this place is fantastic for exploring Sandy beaches and beautiful water. Expect neighbors and it being full on weekends, but we’ve had nothing but great welcoming friendly neighbors. A true joy to be around.

Quiet and peaceful. We had a pretty decent pull-through spot near the water. However, the campground is in serious need of site maintenance with rotted timbers and broken equipment.
