Enjoyed our campsite at Towncreek. Very relaxing and quiet. The boat and barge traffic was interesting to watch. It's hard to beat a Corp of Engineer campsite.

This was our family’s first camping experience. We are a family of 4 with children ages 10 and 7. Everyone made wonderful memories and the kids have already asked when we could return. The bike trail was the highlight of the trip for sure so make sure to take your bikes or scooters. The basketball court and swing sets were also big hits. We are already planning our next trip.

Campground is really nice. Lots of trees and water front sites. The signage on highway is very faded and hard to see.
