The campground/campsite upgrades are wonderful! It was our first visit to Frank Russell and we hope to return. I would prefer on the double drive sites that the parking stop not be so close to the patio area as it is a "trip hazard", and not everyone brings a boat/trailer.
We experienced a slide issue with our 5th wheel on the day we were scheduled to leave which prevented our departure. The Park Ranger was very kind in helping us with the scheduled arrival of the new guests for that site.
I would also like to see trash containers near the shower/bath house.
One other suggestion, the park would greatly benefit from camp hosts. When we had the issues with our 5th wheel, a camp host could have answered many questions I had and provided contacts that were helpful.

Clean, inexpensive sights, clean restrooms, nice trails, and plenty of kayaking opportunities.

Nice campground with full hookups, unusual for a CoE. It even had cement pads. But the site we were in (60) was very unlevel. I don't expect to put multiple pieces of wood under the motorhome tires on a cement pad. It was a significant slope from the passenger's side to the driver's side. But it was a helpful slope when it rained.

We really enjoy this state park, and appreciate that Frank Russell campground has full hookups.
We know that we’re in the heart of nature, but really hated seeing so many ticks around our campsite.
