I really enjoyed my stay. However, I reserved the site for two nights. When I arrived, others had set up camp. His camp, three tents would not fit on the site he reserved. Makes one think his move was intentional. If this happens again, I will request they move.

Site 96. Hard to find which campground between east and west campground was where our site was located. Several people had similar experience. No attendant at front for checking in.
Have a 32 ft class A, Site had a slope to front that required several boards under front tires. Site had paved pad. Rest of site had larger gravel stones which was uncomfortable. Nobody cleaned out the sites as peopled left. Trash in fire pits and we saw several people throw plastic bottles in the fire pit before leaving.
Had cell service with Verizon but on weekends the data rate was unusable.

Bathrooms clean. Nice campsite with a fire ring and a good table. Plenty of room between campsites. Quiet atmosphere. Not to far to access lake or drive into Hannibal for some sightseeing. We loved our stay there!

I would like to go back to the days when you didn’t need a reservation ahead of time. That makes it difficult for spur of the moment campers to get a full hookup site. Especially on a weekend.
Specifically at Indian Creek Campground in Missouri, make the West Campground first come first served. If a site is available, you can occupy it for up to 15 days.

Indian Creek Recreation Area is accessible via Highway 36 and Highway 24, both of which are major roads in the area.

- Limit 4 tents per site or 1 RV plus 3 additional tents per site
- The hike-in tent sites are available mid-May to mid-September
- The west boat ramp is open year-round

- All campsites feature a 20/30/50 ampere service on each site.
