Indian Creek Campground is highly regarded for its beautiful, spacious, and well-maintained sites, surrounded by nature and offering easy access to hiking and Mark Twain Lake. Campers appreciate the friendly and helpful staff, clean facilities, and peaceful atmosphere, making it a favorite spot for many. While there were minor issues with booking and bathroom cleanliness, overall experiences are overwhelmingly positive, with many looking forward to returning.

We arrived during Tic season. There was even a warning sign at the entry gate. While we were setting up they were all over the campsite. While I was putting down my leveling blocks they seemed to be attracted to the orange leveling blocks. The Campsite itself was not very level. used up all of my leveling blocks as well as several 2x6's on three of the four tires on the RV. Nice campground. It rained most of the time we were there, wish we could've enjoyed it more.

If you wanna hike your stuff in to camp this is for you but if you want a slab to pull up to and just dump your stuff this isn’t for you.

Great spot overlooking the lake. It was drawn down a bit but still made for some stunning photos. Staff is awesome and very accommodating. The grounds were very clean. It was early in the season so a lot of leaves yet still on the ground and not on the trees but totally expected. Bathrooms were clean and well kept. Soap at the sink for washing hands, towel and hand drier there and intact. Showers had a mat inside a double stall for changing. The shower head was a little something to be desired (but isn't that most ACOE campgrounds?). Plenty of hot, Hot, HOT water! I like my showers hot but wow! Still, that's NOT a complaint- just a precautionary note. Cell phone coverage was excellent. We ran a cold camp for the weekend due to high winds and was able to steam movies in the camper all weekend.

Facilities definitely need some work. Power washing, or whatever they did to the bathrooms, leaving the toilets wet was not ideal... Large (8+tents) will have some difficulty for a good spot. Our site had great access to the water.

The gnats and ticks were extraordinary. I’m not sure there is much that can be done about that but in addition the bathrooms were awful. The method of hosing them down left standing water on the floors as well as soggy toilet paper. I left early.

We just spent a relaxing weekend at Indian Creek Campground. Didn’t do anything else but spend time with family. Excellent time.

I love staying at Indian Creek, the area is so nice and quiet, relaxing and well kept but I hope they replace the fish cleaning station soon.
