Indian Creek Campground is highly regarded for its beautiful, spacious, and well-maintained sites, surrounded by nature and offering easy access to hiking and Mark Twain Lake. Campers appreciate the friendly and helpful staff, clean facilities, and peaceful atmosphere, making it a favorite spot for many. While there were minor issues with booking and bathroom cleanliness, overall experiences are overwhelmingly positive, with many looking forward to returning.

Bring everything you need as there are no stores close by. There is a nice walking path not far from the campground which we enjoyed.

Nice clean park. The site was as described. We saw local attractions: Covered Bridge, Birthplace of Mark Twain and the Cannon Dam and Visitor Center.
We walked the trail between the East and West Campground. The trail was wide and had pea gravel which made for an easy walk.

Love camping at Indian Creek. Large sites lots of trees. And it is quite. The new bath/restrooms are very nice. If i could change one thing it would be better cell phone service. I was not bad when I arrived. But come Friday were more and more campers arrived it when down so much it was not useable. Don't get me wrong I was still able to make a call but it took a long time for weather information to load.

It was a little tight backing up for this newbie. I had a learning experience with the front to back slope. All in all it worked out, and I learned.

Enough room for 41 foot motor home and one vehicle. Good clean quiet site, semi- private easy in easy out.

This is a 5+ campground. One of the best that COE has to offer. Campsites are laid out very well, asphalt pads and aluminum picnic tables with gravel base. Shower house in the east campground is brand new with 6 individual bathroom/shower rooms with good controls for water temperature. Hiking trails all around. Decent cell phone service and some over-the-air TV reception.

Very good campground, well maintained. It was a bit unsettling getting in there as it's 8 1/2 miles from the main highway to get back to the campground. All good, paved roads, but you tend to wonder if a wrong turn had been made. Maybe a couple more signs telling us we're headed in the right direction would be nice. There were new playgrounds and equipment at all the different campgrounds, as well as new bath houses. Much work had been done to get it looking good. Be sure to park only on designated campsite pads or parking areas. The Park Ranger came thru 2-3 times a day and gave out warnings to those that had parked boats or 2nd vehicles beside their pad. And that's OK. They had planted new grass seed and were trying to get it to grow in several places. Parking and driving on this seeding only hurt the lawn. The boat landing was good but did not have a dock. There were a lot of heavy rocks by the boat launch but a bit to the west of the boat launch was a sandy beach to pull up on while you parked your truck.

Host was friendly. New shower house. Large sites, far apart, bring your leveling blocks…
