Indian Creek MO. Is a great park. Lots of space between sites, clean shower houses, lots of hiking available. The trees! The lake! The quiet!

This is still one of the best COE campgrounds which has all kinds of sites, spaced well. The only problem is that many are not level and some really far from level. Plenty of road for bike riding, and trails for hiking, along with a beach and boating. There isn't much that isn't available here.

I had a really great time at the Indian Creek camp grounds, (West). It was peaceful, (as in everybody was lights out in their trailers before I made it to camp, to pitch my tent, just barely past sunset!); Doing ANYthing at the aluminum picnic tables seems really noisy after dark).
The fall colors were all popping out, and the stars and Milky Way were too! Awesome!
The bathroom facilities were stocked with supplies, and a nice trail was just one site down from my accessible campsite. (54)
I would watch out for the railroad tie steps and wooden railing, as they’ve weathered, and are deteriorating.
I would camp here again!

Nice lot. Lots of space. Close to bathroom and trash container….Close, but not too close loved my visit.

We had fantastic weather. The camp was just about deserted. The spots with full hook up were all taken but many great spots were available with electric only. The sites are large and easy to back into. The washrooms gave plenty of hot and cold water. The cleaning of the facilities left a lot to be desired. The urinal was dirty with caked on lime scale. The handicap shower only gave very hot water that could not be turned down. The sinks would benefit from a good scrubbing with “Dutch cleanser” But for $10@ night who is to complain. I was told by the very welcoming gate attendant that it was end of season and the cleaning contractors had been terminated… It’s a perfect site to make side trips to Hannibal and the Mark Twain exhibit.

Park was generally quiet and sites are widely spaced. However the shower house was definitely dated and well used, but still functional. We frequently saw deer as we entered and exited the park.
