The best maintained campground we’ve been to. The camp hosts (for the last handful of years) kept amazingly clean outhouses, picked up debris and provided great info on the area. Wonderful experience!

Very nice, very well kept campground with virgin Ponderosa Pine trees. Pit toilets were cleaned daily, at least, and really nice campground hosts. Many of the sites have long driveways.
Note the campground is located 29 miles off of US93, but the State Highway that leads to it is in pretty good shape. There are some hiking opportunities south of the campground, but two of the trails require a wet foot crossing of the West Fork of the Bitterroot River. Back up towards US 93, there are several USFS roads that lead to trailheads for the high country. If you want to get away from it all, this is YOUR place.

This campground is one of the best in Montana. It is exceptionally clean especially the bathrooms!! The campground hosts Gordon and Karen, are friendly and do a wonderful job of keeping everything in tip top condition. I will continue to come back here in the future.

This is the third time we've stayed at this campground and it was great, as always. Hosts Chris and Karen are kind, efficient and knowledgeable. Sites are clean and raked. The two vault toilets are clean and smell fresh. Sites are spaced well apart. We made
reservations this time so we could get our favorite site.

This campground is super clean and well maintained. There were pet waste disposal bags at every site. All sites were spaced apart from each other and the vault bathrooms were very clean. This campground is only 15 minuites south of the boat launch areas for Painted Rocks Lake. Hughes Creek was a short walk from our site. Very enjoyable 5 days! Thanks camp hosts for your attention to detail!
