Great campground, but you have to cross an old iron gate with a 4 ton weight limit to access it. After arriving, I did the math and concluded our truck and camper weighed 8 tons. There were many rigs as big or bigger on that side of the river.

Very basic. Vault toilet no trash receptacles. Sites are separated by trees. Quiet place very convenient for fly fishing. Just walk a little! June here was VERY buggy (mosquitos) but what do you expect. Just saying - bug spray is needed.

Nice campground site #9 was a little hard to back a longer trailer into. If some branches were trimmed on a pine tree it would be a lot easier to back in without scratching the side of the trailer.

It’s a small campground mostly occupied by fishermen. In early July there were many mosquitos. The campground is close to the road so you can hear cars passing by. I stayed there only overnight - wouldn’t probably spend there a few days. Voult toilet was clean.

Clean bathrooms and easy access to water. There were two water faucets that I saw but I just used the river and filtered water since it offers a beautiful view. A little far drive to Yellowstone so make sure to wake up extra early.

Reserved Campsite 6! Perfect location if you like to be close to the outhouse. Campsite and outhouse was super clean and had amazing views; sites were spaced out well. Will definitely come back in the future! :)

Very nice river location with great access and plenty of dirt road exploration downriver from the campsites. Access bridge has a 12'6" height restriction, so be aware. Pit toilet was as clean as you could hope for. Only 9 sites in this campground, so the area itself is quiet. Rt 87 is nearby, and there is some road noise; but, as is often the case, it lessens during the night hours. I would definitely come back to this location.
