What Guests Are Saying
Wade Lake is praised for its stunning beauty, serene atmosphere, and well-maintained campground, making it an excellent spot for family recreation and relaxation. Many visitors enjoyed activities like paddleboarding and canoeing, appreciating the clear waters and picturesque scenery. However, some campers faced challenges with the reservation system, limited space, and occasional noise from generators, though these did not overshadow the overall positive experience.

We had 3 tents to set up and the campsite I reserved was a bit small and required walking a trail up a hill to the tent spots. But we didn’t mind, it made it more of an adventure! Very nice little campground.

We had a wonderful experience camping at Wade Lake Campground. The camp hosts were very kind and welcoming. Our site was very well maintained. We took our drift boat and were lucky to have a campsite because the parking lot filled up very quickly. Make sure to get there early if you need a spot

We never met the camp host, and the bathroom was not well-maintained. The lake and neighbors were wonderful, so no complaints there! Well-worth the drive to get there- absolutely stunning.

Lots of people but the lake was fun for the grandkids. Our campsite was nice but the fire grate needs to be replaced. Lots of trash off in the weeds near the day use area. Campground host needs to do a better job.

Love this campground! We have been going for years, and had stopped due to how crazy it had gotten. Decided to give it another try since the reservation option started, and it was so much nicer! Not nearly as busy since you could see online that it was full. Very clean sites, and a helpful host.

Wade Lake is such a wonderful place to be. So relaxing! The campground host was absolutely wonderful, the best that we’ve ever seen. He was attentive, walked around checking on the whole campground and the bathrooms were spotless. Thanks

Great spot on the lake. The lake is no secret and very crowded during the day, but this spot made it easy to set up chairs on the beach and stake your spot early in the day. Very quiet and chill at night. Great birding right from the picnic table. Camp host was really nice and helpful. It was my first visit and I wasn’t sure where our spot was. The hike from the parking area to the campsite was much shorter than the 500 ft listed.
